I am currently bootstrapping a product but I am open for employment if it's a great fit. I have over 10 years of experience as engineer and founder. As an engineer I've worked in finance, research (economics & health care), education, real estate, marketing and dev infra.
Recently, I’ve been using Typescript, React, Bun/Node, Django and Python to build web apps and agentic workflows on top of foundation models. I have some experience with fine-tuning and with reinforcement learning, so I’m also interested in work that is closer to research.
I have my own LLC and I am also open to contract work.
About: I work as a Data Engineer and am highly skilled in Statistical Analysis, Data Science, and DevOps. I have 10 years of professional experience, and have shipped lots of quality code to Production (that scales) in that time. I mainly use Python, SQL, Bash, AWS, but have worked with lower-level programming languages as well, and have deep dived on many of these tools/platforms. I am a strong problem solver and a responsible team member with a KISS and deliver-first mindset, to which others can attest. I am open to full or part-time work, hybrid or remote.

Over a decade of experience in Senior and Staff engineering roles building scalable systems and user interfaces. I have extensive background working cross functionally in an organization to create and steward technical roadmaps, meet business objectives and keeping teams from hitting technical roadblocks. I help build teams up sustainably and have extensive experience in technical leadership and mentoring peers.
My background for the last 4 years in particular has been on scaling a business, with a general focus on the user experience and technical stability. Taking a product or suite of products from 400 to 40,000 active users without losing control of performance and keeping the user experience approachable is where I shine best. This means addressing performance impacting hot spots, adoption of new tools or improving existing ones, proper A/B testing, gathering user experience data to identify pain points and most importantly empowering teams to move fast sustainably through best practice.
Hi, I'm Charles and I have decades of experience with Linux administration, with some cloud and orchestration thrown in for good measure. I am passionate about open source and making people's lives easier. My strengths are clear communication and methodical troubleshooting. I am proficient in Python and Bash, intermediate in Javascript. I love learning new things and hope for a job that exposes me to more coding, cloud, orchestration, and AI development.
I am considering a change of employment, but only for remote W-2 positions at this time. May consider an on-site job in or around Ann Arbor if the culture is right. Regardless, I'm always happy to talk to anyone about anything so absolutely feel free to reach out for a chat.
Hi, I'm Branko. I am looking for a part-time or contract position in a small team where I can wear multiple hats: building features (Frontend/Laravel), handling support tickets, writing documentation, and improving SEO.
I have an engineering degree in Geodesy/GIS and 5+ years of customer support experience. I've developed products like a text analysis tool, a fishing logbook app, and an app for easing certain customer support tasks (links on website).
If you need someone who is just as comfortable handling support and documentation as they are writing code, I'd love to chat.

Most recent role was building data analytics platform for agricultural customers; previously connectivity/control/update for IoT devices. I think I'm good at understanding and adapting to a new business domain, and enjoy that learning opportunity. I believe we build better software with a better understanding of the context it operates in.
Have done & can do full-stack work (helped last company grow from three engineers and through acquisition) but lean towards backend/infrastructure in expertise. Most recently platform technical lead (IC).
MEng EE & CS blend. (No professional EE experience, but somewhat maintained as a hobby.) 8y post-intern experience in web software.
Looking for something new to sink my teeth into in an organisation with room to grow. Remote opportunities only please, and that I'm eligible for residing in the UK & as a British citizen, though I'm perfectly willing to travel for particular events/big meetings. Cheers!
I'm looking for monthly/yearly "no-strings" sponsors, not employment, if any individuals (or companies) would like to help a long-time OpenBSD slacker, unslack, I'd really like to focus more of my time on open source development (and advocacy), rather than making rent. Feel free to contact me.
I'm looking to get back into a more typical Software Engineering role rather than my current customer-facing position as a "Customer Support Engineer". I would describe myself as a mid-level engineer, but the goal is to reach a senior level title at a company with a high bar.

Pretty boring dude, 14+ years of experience in various areas of engineering. I'm looking to switch jobs only because I intend to move to Europe in ~2.5 years and that's a no-go with my current employer. I'm very interested in science and research.
My professional work's covered in my résumé, but that's mostly boring. I've also written a NES emulator [1], an ECS-based Lisp machine/rule engine [2], a self-organizing gossip mesh that learns to play Flappy Bird [3], and ported _Zork_ to Clojure for no good reason [4]. I also started working on a Math/CS educational site late last year to combat a wave of depression [5].
I'm a bit of an odd duck and don't fit what many teams are seeking, but I'm always growing and getting better, usually in the weirdest possible way. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you.

I have several years experience as a data analyst, mostly in the video games industry and, more recently, in public service. A large part of this has been data engineering work which I've always found I tend to enjoy more than the analysis side. I've also always maintained a personal interest in programming working on side projects, and so, I am looking to transition into a development/data engineering role.
Lately, I have been spending my time in the embedded space working on retro game console accessories which has been very rewarding. I would love carry some of this experience into a professional role.

An obsessive builder in the ML/AI space. Previous YC ML engineer. 3 years as a Data engineer. Love startups and looking to work somewhere where there is a biasness of shipping. website : anuragd.me
I’m a product-focused full stack engineer with over a decade of experience in fiddling with software. My journey into
programming began during high school when I started running my own gaming server. Since then, I’ve dabbled in
open-source software and early-stage startups.
I learn quickly and thrive in challenging environments where I get to take ownership of the work. Most recently, I worked
at Jiva, an AgriTech transforming smallholder farming in Indonesia through tech-enabled supply chains. Before that, I
was at a B2B SaaS reforming the headcount management space, and prior to that at a lending startup, where I dealt
with all things tech while understanding credit cards and the compliance and regulations of running a fintech in India.
I'm a scientific software engineer and computational biologist with a PhD in neuroscience. I've built agentic LLM orchestration systems for biomedical workflows, developed open-source bioimage analysis tools (VesselVio, published in Cell Reports Methods), and engineered reproducible analysis infrastructure adopted across biopharma R&D teams. I'm looking for scientific software engineering or ML engineering roles where I can build tools and systems that accelerate scientific discovery.
Quick bg: started in session-based recsys research (as transformers were taking over), spent some time in product management, then founded a real estate development and investment company that recently sold an eight-figure GDV project in Portugal. We launched a digital R&D arm to build ML- and automation-driven products in the B2B space, which now power the intelligence backend of most of our brokerage partners and save teams more than 150 hours per month. Stepped down as managing partner to find something exciting to build in the tech space. I also enjoy building small tools to tackle niche problems, like keeping my 1K+ browser tabs under control.

I've been bringing folk together online to build software for almost 30 years, and I want to help a struggling engineering department. CTO/VP/Director is generally the elevation I'm looking for, but if the title is manager and the rest is a good fit, that won't bother me.
If you have an engineering department with any sort of significant struggle, reach out and let's talk about how I could help. Whether it's digging out of deep technical debt, facilitating difficult conversations, designing events for org alignment, or leadership coaching, I've done it before, and I want to help you with it.
Misc: I have over two years of full-time security consulting and blue team experience at NCC Group and Black Lantern Security. Also, I have two 0days and received CVEs under my name and a company research blog post to go along with it. Done contracting for FAANGs and found 0days in their products. Worked at IBM as a programmer too.
I'm eligible for a security clearance and willing to do government work. Already passed a FSP once, but was denied agency specific suitability.
Staff/Principal Software Engineer with ~15 years building and leading large-scale, mission-critical systems across government, defense, and big tech (USDS/VA, Amazon, U.S. Navy). Hi, my name is Alec and I build infrastructure and glue systems together. I have completed projects ranging from writing backend application code to building out idempotent infrastructure. I'm looking to branch out into more formal SRE roles as well.
If you're worried about the state of your infrastructure, or your developers spend too much time mucking with infrastructure versus feature work, OR if you have no idea what I'm even talking about, then I am certainly going to be a help on your team.
I am a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 10+ years of experience. I recently left Amazon and am looking for my next challenge. I have a unique blend of product-focused engineering and deep security expertise. I ship features fast while ensuring they are secure, accessible, and compliant.
I’m comfortable in fast moving startup environments and complex, scaled systems. Available for remote work in EST.
I help organisations involved in social and environmental causes with the design of their website, UI, products and social media posts. I've worked on projects focused on thermal solar energy, household waste reduction, plant-based food advocacy and data science for social/environmental issues. My collaborative design process is based on creating designs that align with your goals while taking into account what's practical to develop.
· Web design: responsive mobile/desktop designs that are lightweight and fast, where I can also arrange web development
· Branded materials: social media and slideshows designs
· Included in all services: advice on sustainability, accessibility (WCAG), content/copy, and SEO

Looking for: Part-time long-term engagement OR short-term full-time contracts. Particularly interested in very early-stage startups - happy to work within lean budgets for problems I believe in.
Technologies: Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, PowerShell, Flask, SQL, PostGIS, Shapely, Unity, Unreal Engine, multiple assembly/machine languages, Windows user code and kernel drivers, Google Maps and other map APIs, geographic and airspace data
Hi, I'm Michael Geary. I've programmed in many languages and environments over the years. Some of my current interests are:
• Developer experience. I love helping my fellow developers solve problems, and building tools to make their jobs easier and more enjoyable.
• Aviation and geographic data. For example, airspace and obstacle data importers for Wing; election results and voter information maps for Google; many interactive maps for other companies.
• Hardware interfacing. In a way, I am a "full stack" developer, but my stack may involve a front end to a piece of hardware rather than the cloud. I first got into programming via ham radio, so RF hardware remains an interest.
• Designing and building APIs. Too often an API is designed by exposing the internals of whatever system provides the API. My philosophy is the opposite: start with the apps. I like to build a series of sample apps before starting on the API. This way I can imagine what API will make those apps and others like them easy to build.
• Talk with users! I don't like to sit in a back room cranking out code. I want to make sure it's the right code for what my users need, and that it's easy to maintain and improve as we learn more about what they want.

Infrastructure engineer with 15+ years building and scaling cloud systems. Track record of designing high-availability AWS architectures handling 170M+ daily requests while keeping costs under control.
I've been using Go as my primary language for the last nine years, although I don't overly care about the specific language and have experience with a wide variety of tools and languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, C, JavaScript, Lua, and probably some more. While I've mainly focused on backend in the last few years, I also have written plenty of frontend code over the years, from the "pre-jQuery" days to VueJS.
In the last few years I mainly focused on GoatCounter (https://www.goatcounter.com) with the occasional contract job, but I'm keen to start working on something new for the longer term.
I've got quite a bit of code on my GitHub, so you can take a look at that if you want: https://github.com/arp242

You have a Web/Mobile app that's a mess? That needs some love and a responsible maintainer? Or need to migrate an old codebase to something more modern? A web app that's not responsive for a mobile screen and needs some optimizations?
Where other programmers find enjoyment in working with new shiny infra/frameworks/tech stacks I find enjoyment and purpose on maintaning stuff, taking care of software that powers current systems and serve real users. No matter how old the tech stack is, today more than ever it is crucial to make software reliable and stable. I maintained and migrated many systems over the years, doing it gradually over short or longer time periods depending on the task, with an eye to quality and with the help of tests.
I’m an experienced remote worker, based in the EU. I over communicate and willing to build trust. I’m a contractor and I already have some gigs, I’m currently available for ~20hrs/week at 35/40€/hr depending on the project.
A note on AI coding: I know how to best leverage these tools in assisting me BUT I’m the solely responsible for the code I push so you won’t get any slop or vide coded stuff from me. I know when to use these tools, when not and for what.
Software engineer with 15+ years experience building and operating production systems, from initial concept through reliable, reproducible deployment and long-term ownership.

Cheers!

I'm looking to get back into a more typical Software Engineering role rather than my current customer-facing position as a "Customer Support Engineer". I would describe myself as a mid-level engineer, but the goal is to reach a senior level title at a company with a high bar.

I’m a product-focused full stack engineer with over a decade of experience in fiddling with software. My journey into programming began during high school when I started running my own gaming server. Since then, I’ve dabbled in open-source software and early-stage startups. I learn quickly and thrive in challenging environments where I get to take ownership of the work. Most recently, I worked at Jiva, an AgriTech transforming smallholder farming in Indonesia through tech-enabled supply chains. Before that, I was at a B2B SaaS reforming the headcount management space, and prior to that at a lending startup, where I dealt with all things tech while understanding credit cards and the compliance and regulations of running a fintech in India.

A frontend specialist with ~6 YoE on shipping web products. Looking for a mid-to-senior frontend role, but also interested in gaining exposure to DevOps or full-stack work. Experienced in remote collaboration - happy to accommodate your timezone.
Open primarily to freelance/consulting roles, but full-time roles will also be considered if we're a good fit.
Engineering Highlights:
• Built a WCAG-compliant accessibility engine: Developed a full-stack scanning platform from scratch (Node.js/Vue). Solved the challenge of real-time DOM auditing and automated remediation via an embeddable widget. Currently in beta with enterprise clients.
• Architected high-performance scraping infrastructure: Engineered a scalable data-processing service using Puppeteer and MongoDB. Optimized it to handle 1,000+ complex records efficiently, bypassing dynamic rendering hurdles.
• SEO & Performance Engineering: Led the technical SEO and content strategy for a platform reaching 2M+ organic visitors. Focused on Core Web Vitals, SSR optimization (Next.js), and semantic HTML to drive growth.
• Product Ownership: I don't just close tickets; I actively shape the roadmap. I've spent the last year translating business requirements from stakeholder meetings into stable, production-ready features.
Currently seeking roles in Tokyo or remote-first companies. I value TypeScript-heavy codebases, Agile workflows, and teams that treat frontend as a serious engineering discipline.

I prefer long term contract work, though I’ll help you with smaller things as well. W2 employment is a possibility if the fit is right. Whatever you’re doing with AI is also fine by me, and I’ll lead/adapt as appropriate.

Open to full time or contract.
I look forward to talking with you!
