Will definitely give this a try. For security reasons, what's a reasonable approach when installing stuff like this? Copy the git repository and then have Claude inspect it for malicious files, backdoors and such? I'm so hesitant to install stuff like this and find out it has a backdoor in it.
Both npm and git can work for the install. Please feel free to have Claude inspect it in detail as you suggested. I spent the last two weeks or so mostly with hardening work and probing for potential vulnerabilities and right now I am not aware of any but the more eyes and brains we have the better, that is one of the advantages of open source. Needless to say I have not put any backdoors into it but I understand that it is better to trust but verify these kind of things. I hope you will like it, appreciate honest feedback once you tried it out.
